Imperial Ambulance has been providing Porterville, California with top quality care in emergency services to our community since 1960.  Our excellent employees provide state of the art services, and we are owned by people born and raised in Porterville.  We also provide basic ambulance services including transfers, and we provide wheelchair transportation.

Imperial Ambulance is proud to provide extra services to the community.  We are there at the parades, fireworks, cancer walks, health career days, sober graduation, and the fairs. We even give safety and ambulance demonstrations to pre-schools.  We give first aid and CPR classes and so much more.  We give this extra service to the community because we believe in the community.  Our employees live in the community and raise their families here.  Our employees receive good pay and excellent benefits.  We are good employers and good neighbors.

Though our home base is in Porterville, we also respond to calls in Lindsay when we are dispatched. We service Strathmore, Plainview, Poplar, Woodville, Terra Bella, Ducor, Springville, Camp Nelson, California Hot Springs, Sequoia Crest, Alpine Village, Pierpoint, Cedar Slopes, Ponderosa, Balch Park, Bear Creek, Yohlkol Valley, and Pine Flat. Since these areas are out of our immediate service district, it takes a little longer to get ambulances there, but we do provide ambulance services to these locations and all the rural areas in between.

Sean Roberts is a Paramedic Supervisor with over 13 years of EMS experience and a Paramedic Preceptor, helping train new paramedics. He enjoys working for Imperial Ambulance because it is a small, family oriented company that deeply cares about the patients we serve. He also lives in Porterville, and enjoys serving the city that he call homes. He likes working where the company covers a unique area consisting of small towns, farmland, mountains, forests, and wilderness areas giving a wide variety of calls and no two days that are ever the same. When not at work, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and hunting in the Sequoia National Forest just east of town.

We are in business to provide for your emergency medical services.
